You should burn a candle long enough to completely melt its surface to the edge of the container. We suggest that you burn your candle for a minimum of 2 hours and no more than 4 hours at a time.

Prior to your first and before every burn, trim your candle wick to at least ¼ inch. This prevents uneven burning, dripping or flaring.

The air flow in your home is very essential to how far the scent throw of your candle travels. Also, the size of your space in proportion to the size of the candle matters. For instance, the smell of a small jar candle will likely not permeate as strong if placed in a large open area, while the scent may be strong if placed in a smaller room. It is important to experiment with different spots around your home to determine the spot that works well with your favourite candle size. The 5 best spots for your candles include your foyer, dining area, living room coffee table, kitchen island, and stairways (not recommended for families with young children).
